Robert L. Dempsey's Obituary

Mr. Robert L. "Bobby" Dempsey Jr., 43 years of age, died Wednesday January 14, 2009. Mr. Dempsey was born in Bamberg; he was an avid outdoorsman, a member of Edisto Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of the community.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday January, 17, 2009, at 2:00 P.M., at Edisto Baptist Church, with Rev. Jakie Walters officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers.
He is Survived by his parents, Robert L. Dempsey and Betty T. Dempsey, both of Branchville, one daughter, Sara Dempsey of Hardeeville, one sister, Bridgette Sanchez (David) of Hardeeville, two brothers, Billy Dempsey (Melanie) of Bluffton, and Tony Dempsey of Guyton GA, three grandsons, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour before the services at the church. At other times friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Dempsey Sr..
