Sallie Beth Thomas' Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Sallie Beth Thomas, 86 years of age, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Thomas was born in Orangeburg Co., a daughter of the late Theodore McAlhany and Esther Hutto McAlhany. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, loved working in her yard, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was the widow of the late Holland M. Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 21, 2014, at 2:00 P.M., at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Frederick, and Chaplain Karen Diefendorf officiating. Burial will be at McAlhany Cemetery in Branchville.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda T. Dantzler (Doug) and Donnie T. Hunt, both of Branchville, two sisters, Louise Berry of Reevesville and Delores Wolfe of Branchville, one brother, Gerald McAlhany (Miriam) of Walterboro, three grandchildren, Skee Dantzler (Jeannie), Renee Steedly ( Bubba), and Simmie Freeman (Blake), three great grandchildren, Lee Steedly, Emoree Steedly, and Willow Dantzler.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 20, 2014, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville; at other times, friends may call at the residence.
