Sharon Wiles Moore's Obituary
On Monday, June 30th, 2025, Sharon Wiles Moore, age 74, went to be with the Lord after anextended illness in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones. Sharon was born to thelate Hubert Gilbert Wiles and the late Bonnie Henderson Spires on September 21st, 1950 inOrangeburg, SC.
Sharon loved spending time with her family and she loved her fur baby, Minnie.Sharon was a devoted worker at NIBCO until the closure of the plant in 2007. After that, shewas a caretaker for her husband until he passed away in 2015. Later, she worked part time atDollar Tree in Bamberg, SC until her illness in 2024.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie "Moose" Moore and her sister, SandraBonham.
Sharon is survived by her two sons; Richard Moore (Michelle) and James Moore, all ofBamberg, SC.
Sharon is also survived by her two grandchildren; Jessica Singletary (Andrew) of Branchville,SC and Justin Moore (Kaitlyn) of Ehrhardt, SC.
In addition, Sharon is also survived by her sister, Sarah Whatley, of Bamberg, SC, hersisters-in-law, Florence Osborne, of Orangeburg, SC, and Bonnie Allen, of Orangeburg, SC anda number of special nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and care for all.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 6th, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of OttFuneral Home in Branchville, SC. The family will receive friends one hour before services.
