Branchville
Mrs. Shirley T. Adams, 64 years of age, died Sunday, December 18, 2011. Mrs. Adams was born in Walterboro, a daughter of the late William Henry Thomas Jr. and Doris Elizabeth Thomas. She was a member of Branchville Christian Church, loved spending time in her yard, and was the owner of Working Girl Uniforms in Branchville.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 20, at 12:00 P.M., at the Branchville Christian Church, with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ritter, SC.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Adams, of Branchville, two daughters, Rhonda O. Blackburn (Bert) of Woodstock, GA, and Lisa Ann O'Brien of Branchville. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Briley, Brannen, and Blakely Blackburn, one sister, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service Tuesday, at the Branchville Christian Church; at other times, friends may call at the residence. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
