Susan Linda Smoak - Branchville
Susan L. Smoak, 76 years of age, wife of the late, Horace Lee Smoak, Sr, passed away on Monday, June 29,2026. Born on, November 27,1949 to the late, Clarence (Ilene) Servaty of Minnesota. Susan was married to her soul mate, Horace L Smoak, Sr. for 51 years. Affectionately known as “Susie”, wife, sister, mother, Nana, Grandma, and in her later years “Great Nana” to Wren. She also held great affection for all of her fur grands. She spent her life caring for her family whom she loved immensely. And so enjoyed family gathering where card games were included.
Susan is survived by, daughter, Marie(Harry)McCormick, daughter, Marsha(David) Caddell, and son, Horace “Lee”(Bob) Smoak Duval. Granddaughters, Kaylyn, Trista. Shawna, and Keriannah. Grandson Drew Duval. Great granddaughter Wren. Also, 11 surviving siblings and their spouses, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Monday, July 6,2026 at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, SC. with Pastor Steve Scott officiating.
