Timothy O Mims' Obituary
Timothy O'Neill Mims, 82, of Branchville, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home. He was an Army veteran. Born October 26, 1943, in Sumter, South Carolina, Timothy was the son of the late Bertie Erlick Mims and Leatha Cook Mims Vanover.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn Lucille Mims; twobrothers, Erlick Leroy Mims and William Louis Mims; and one sister, Sara Hart. He is survived by one sister, Willamae Ramsey. Timothy also leaves behind his beloved dog, Rascal.
Timothy was a loving father to Rebecca Mims, Christy (Steve) Cox, Amanda (Mike) Wilson, and Timothy Aaron Mims. He was a proud grandfather of ten grandchildren: Brooke (Benji) Fralix, Grayson (Rebecca) Garrett, Brice Lawson, Brittany Cox, Austin (Michaela) Garrett, Michaela Wilson, MarissaWilson, Alissia (Keagan) Strickland, Surina Mims, and Korrin Mims; and a great-grandfather to eight great-grandchildren, lovingly known to them as "popsicle pops."
Timothy will truly be missed.
