Vance M. Bair, 70 years of age, died Monday, November 12, 2018. Vance was born in Orangeburg Co., a son of the late Marion Bair and Annie Meta Dukes Bair. He was an avid farmer, heavy equipment operator, a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 16, 2018, at 3:00 PM, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobbie Ethridge and Rev. Corey Leggett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before services; at other times friends may call at the residence.
Mr. Bair is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie Bair, three sons, Chris Bair (Melissa) of Lexington, Jason Bair (Caryn) of Norway, and Josh Bair, of Bowman, three grandsons, Nathan, Noah, and Sam Bair, one brother, Manning Bair (Lisa) of St. George, two sisters, Margie Billings (Butch) of Lexington, Dot Easterlin of Orangeburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
