Mr. Vernon M. Broderick, 76 years of age, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Broderick was born in Walterboro, a son of the late Willie Broderick and Janie B. Broderick. Mr. Broderick was retired, after 36 years, from Ambler Industries.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Tabernacle Cemetery, near Smoaks.
Mr. Broderick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene H. Broderick, one daughter, Sheena Ryan Hernandez of Smoaks, two grandchildren, Javier and Isabel Hernandez, one brother, one sister, and a number of nieces and nephews, some of whom he helped raise.
