Virginia Joette Judy's Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Joette Ott Judy, wife of Hiriman Judy, 63 years of age, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Mrs. Judy was born in Walterboro, a daughter of the late Vernon Ott Sr. and Ruby Myers Ott. She was an active member of Old St. George Baptist Church, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she loved children and was an avid sports fan of Dorchester Academy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at Old St. George Baptist Church, with Rev. Kevin Hinton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews Kevin Judy, Kent Judy, Sam Weathers, Robbie Ott, Benji Pace, Tripp Hutto, and John Hutto.
She is survived by her husband, Hiriman Edward Judy, three sons, Eddie Todd Judy (Melissa), Freddie Ott Judy (Charlie Smith), and Nicholas Hiriman Judy (Carroll), and three grandchildren, Saylor Stevie Judy, Carter Thomas Judy, and Nicholas Chantz Judy. She is also survived by a brother, Vernon Ott Jr. (Gayle) and two sisters, Eunice Ott Weathers (Wig) and Johnnie Ott Hutto (Wilburn). She is predeceased by a sister, Joyce Ott Floyd.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016, from 6:00 -8:00 PM, at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
