Whilimena Metts Judy's Obituary
Rowesville Mrs. Whilimena Metts Judy, 84 years of age, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2009. Mrs. Judy was born in Cope, on June 30, 1924, a daughter of the late Sam Metts, and Myrtle Dukes Byrd. She was a member of Branchville Baptist Church, and a member of Dorcas Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Willard Niva Judy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Metts, and one grandson, Michael Legare Halter Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at 3:00 P.M., at Branchville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6P.M. to 8 P.M. at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. She leaves to cherish fond memories: one son, Rauly (Jan) Judy of Aiken, three daughters, Harriett (Jimmie) Irick, of Rowesville, Phyllis (Marvin ) Carter of Walterboro, and Gayle (Robert) Dunning of Rowesville, twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, and a very special sister-in-law, Joan Metts. Memorials may be made to Hospice of TRMC, and Branchville Baptist Church, 691 Ott St. Branchville, SC 29432.
