William James "Will" Myers Sr., 73, passed away at his residence on June 14, 2016. Will was a master cabinet maker and the owner of Myers Woodworks. He was a mason, a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, participated in Saturday morning bible study and attended Sunday school and church at Branchville Christian Church. He was a member of Buckhead Advent Christian Church. He loved his grandchildren and Dixie, his dog. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and woodworking.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Branchville Christian Church, with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will be at Buckhead Advent Christian Church Cemetery, in Smoaks.
Will is survived by his wife, Laura, of the home, son, William J. Myers Jr., daughter in law, Stephanie, and grandchildren, Joanna, Jesse, and Emma. He is also survived by a sister, Sally Ann Spires (Dwight), a nephew Bryan Spires and family. He is predeceased by a son, Jason Andrew Myers.
