I was Rickie's hospice nurse around 8 1/2 years ago. He was on the list to be one that was going to go very soon, but he and I decided that he wasn't ready. We worked to get his medications right and therapeutic. He ended up getting dropped from Hospice, "for failure to die". That's what he called it lol. He was a character to say the least. We never lost touch, he sent me texts and memes daily. He was always telling me to come be his wife lol. He was a bit of a lady's man. He lifted my spirits alot through Covid with all the death. He gave me pep talks and assured me everThing was going to be ok. He was a good friend, a good man who was so very proud of his family. I will miss him and his daily texts. God speed my friend !
