Dear Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences and some words of encouragement from God's Word, the Bible.
The loss of a dear loved one can cause pain and sorrow, but you are not without hope. Our loving Creator did not intend for us to die, so he promises to reunite us with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (Job 14:14, 15; John 5:28, 29) Knowing you will see your dear Vernon again will hopefully bring you some comfort.

Our merciful God, Jehovah, will also give you the strength to endure difficult times such as this. (Psalms 121:1-3) So, please rely fully upon "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials." (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) I will also include you in my prayers.
